We will try to get in for the afternoon walk, but if the weather is as bad as at the moment we may just pay the man and not go.

My steak bake from Gregs was delicious . Ate it while tripping the light fantastic in torrential rain. Enjoyed the walking tour. Loved the Liver buildings. Glad I went, but glad to get back to the van , get dry and have a cup of tea.

We were at the Liverpool museum and after an hour and a half we just stared at the rain falling like stair-rods so our trip to the slavery museum was abandoned as we made our way back to St James .

A very good small breakfast inc toast and coffee £3.30 that's cheaper than Greggs!

I managed to get to the stadium just before 11.00 the lady in the tour office told me that all the tours had been cancelled today.

There was certainly increased security but the reason for the cancellation was high winds and barricades had blown over, ( I actually observed this at the other side of the stadium).

It was a wet and windy ride home on the bike.

Ps you can use your tour ticket to visit the museum instead, I was told.

Our barriers are down too and the toilet block door has blown shut. This is a fire escape door so requires the key for the other side of the building to re open it.

Yes I worked that out at 07.50 this morning. I was gonna use their showers whilst Jackie was in ours, ended up saving water, shared a shower.
