Hi,

I'm after a converted Mercedes Vario 614 or 814 or something similar. Ideally 4 berth as I have 2 kids but I'd consider 2 berth if there's room to fit 2 bunks somewhere. Basically I want a super reliable metal bodied BIG van. I'll need to fit a full length super robust roofrack as I transport my kids boats on the roof so a "coach built" van is out of the question. I would consider the smallest of American RV's, 26 foot max. I'm on a budget so I'm looking in the under £10k region. I'll consider anything really provided it's diesel and super reliable.

Thanks,
Colin

I don't know how heavy your boats are but most if not all A class motorhomes and most coachbuilts have a stronger roof than a panel van.

11yrs, but many years a tugger.
Almost certainly, a small American RV will have a petrol engine. It is possible to find a diesel, but they are rare methinks.
