Hi guys do you think this is repairable??

I agree cut it off and either buy or fabricate a replacement.
I doubt that will be straightened enough to be aligned.
Will be an insurance claim anyway just hoping it wasn't beyond mending.

Now I've seen your other post I can see what it is.
It will be straightenable but a lot of cutting and welding if the piece isn't readily available as a replacement section.

Is it necessary to straighten it out in order to attach anything to it? The one captive nut there doesn't seem to have been displaced.

Depends if it’s done more damage further back…and if things are inline. If it requires a pull on a jig.. it might be a write off. Just saying

I’d be concerned about what the insurance co make of it. They may get funny with crumple zone, and isn’t it what the front cross member gets bolted too.

With the correct equipment a relatively easy repair in my opinion, any decent body shop will be able to sort it out.
