If just bought a used motorhome with a maxview seeker wireless satellite setup on connected to an Avtex tv.
The dish has clear view of sky, no obstruction at all.
It’s locked onto 28 but on wireless bit it says no satellite found.
Any suggestions Lee Rasberry
Cheers

Need to Rescan
In the satellite menue make sure you have 2 green bars in the bottom right hand corner

This motorhome has so many coax and satellite cables, we found the one from Maxview box using multimeter on centre wire.
Maxview say satellite found , but tv gets nothing
I’m going to try my Freesat box and by tv next, see what happens with that

You need to have 2 blue bars to receive tv channels on the second line down try clicking on the right arrow until you get 2 blue lines then scroll down to transponder to search

I doubt there is any issue with the Maxview satellite as it’s found Astra 2 (I have the same setup and it’s been very reliable)
First thing would be to check the satellite cable from the Maxview control box to the Avtex Tv or alternatively hook up a Freesat box which in turn would be connected via an HDMI to the Avtex TV

My plan is to use my Finlux tv and Freesat box anyway and that’s what I plan to try later. Cheers

To reset the tv back tp factory settings select satellite then enter either 2580 or 0852 can't remember if you hold down the button on the remote that selects tv

After you have done a factory reset check to see if you have the 2 green or in your case blue bars on the bottom right of the settings menu you need to to be on the right settings to able to search the transponder
Later this afternoon I will go down the storage where my van is and il take a photo of my settings I'm sure they are the same as the photos I have put up they were taken a couple of years ago.
You should also update the maxview box for new software update I know the last one was issued November 2024.
If you google maxview seeker update it shows you how to do it

Thanks for all the suggestions , have done what I intended to do anyway and used my Humax Freesat box and it came straight on without doing anything.
Cheers
