we were at sleningford mill at the weekend grade 2/3 water we were in dumfrece and Galloway grade 2/3 water and loch's before that perthshire Scotland grandtully 3/4 waterCannot join you this time Bill as we are in France. I am interested to know where you are kayaking though and how you get on.

I love Matlock and the surrounding area but didn't know about any kayaking opportunities there. It sounds like the 'Fairly Tame' description would suit us nicely.

last time i was their was when my son won dive 2 competition he is 34 now and was abut 14/15 at the timeThat's good advice, Matlock will be far too shallow and a bit rocky for you @andy63 have you got any scratches on your Kayak yet.
Cant make it Bill but hope you enjoy, last time I was at Matlock was Youth team training weekend and I didn't even get on the water.
