I have spent the last 6 months working on the exterior of my camper conversion. Had many tips from this forum and would like to say thanks to you all. Here is what you have helped me to create:

Looks great can’t wait to see the inside

Those tiny windows make it look like an ex-prison van.
Already know that's coming back from DVLA as a "van with windows"

Fabulous job well done to you both.

Well done, you two!! Very informative, interesting and entertaining........... and it looks GREAT. It is a credit to you. Really looking forward to video No.2. Thanks!

I like that. Nice moves too at the end😀🕺💃

He is only speaking from his own experienc/memories 🤣🤣
And window frames have gotten smaller in coachbuilt MH 🤷‍♂️

Our 2006 MH has a rear lounge with panoramic size windows and when we look at newer models 1st thing we notice - well, 2nd after the motorhome size  - is that lounge windows are 1/3 smaller.
I wonder if it's insulation or safety related. 🤔

Cracking job so far, I like the external look of the van. Looking forward to seeing the internals…

Well done, I like the idea of taping the bin bag under where you do the roof cut outs.
looking forward to seeing the next stage

Great job guys and as you say in the video, you’ve really enjoyed it and that’s very evident to see! 👍🏻👌 (so ignore the disappointingly negative posters)

Excellent editing guys and rustprooofing - I've liked, subbed and commented #9

Attention to detail is excellent, really well done.

Looking good. Well done to you both. Looking forward to the interior being done. (y)

Small windows are great. So much space is wasted in many conversions by having big windows where cupboards etc would be more useful. If you want to look at the world you can just go outside.

I would find small windows depressing, but that's my personal bugbear. I know I am in a minority, when you see what converters keep building that includes strongly tinted small windows, and you even see coachbuilts that have one entire side wall without windows at all except the cab.

I would rather have more window area and a clean van roof without leaky and noisy openings that exist mainly to let in more light because the interior is too gloomy otherwise, especially in the UK. That's why I live in a 1960s house with huge windows. Since moving here from a newbuild with fashionable small windows (a cheap means to achieve a thermal efficiency A rating), I have suffered much less from Seasonal Affective Disorder in the winter months, because I get more natural daylight indoors. My house will never get an energy efficiency rating better than C but it's a worthwhile trade-off for improved mental health.

Love the dancing , hope you have time to explore that as well , strictly ballroom , who knows .

Nice one folks.
Great satisfaction and if any gremlins occur you know every inch of your van.
Well done.
