I decide to make some bread today not using the bread maker but by hand haven done it for a while
se how it turns out

I love home made bread - with a thick layer of butter. What type of bread are you making ?
 
Hi Bill, Eddie ... Carol's husband .. makes lovely bread too ... I think he uses a breadmaker but he does different kinds which I have not heard of before... There are several other Funster men who, at the meets, say they make bread .. it must be something of a man thing. :) Look forward to tasting it... :) :) :)
 
Anyone know how to make Gluten free bread that is not so crumbly?

mmm.. luvley.. can almost smell it.. I made 4 mini French Baguettes today and they were fantastic,.. all eaten already

a tip I got today use only cane based sugar and if possible use caster sugar

good tip .. also the same for making jam .. use only cane.. sugar from sugar beet doesn't set well

my normal loaf only has 1 tea spoon.. and none in Baguettes

cain ferments better beet doesn't ferment as good and has invasive emsines that inhibit the yeas just like brewing

the wee man just got up thinking it was time for school as her in doors usually setts the bread maker for the morning
it's a lovely smell to greet you in the morning fresh baked bread

the bread I have ben making over the last week I actually got a bit today I had to make two loves I make it disappears I was just left with curms yesterday.
Tow of the boys are staying at our house just now I remember why I was so glad when they had gone.
back to emty fridge no milk and no :swear2: bread

I make my own as well. Use a Panasonic bread maker though. Got it as on a salt free diet due to menieures disease, a ear balance disorder..the amount of salt in shop bought bread is incredible! :(

I have forgotten the salt so many times and the bread has been fine

Do you find the Panasonic a bit hit and miss?

Some of my loaves come out perfect, some are rubbish.

I had a Panasonic never had many problems with it but I always started my yeas before I put it in it helped with the proving.
and proper bakers yeas helps to I have fund

Waitress Canadian Bread Flour :D Trust me, it will make a massive difference to your bread making :D
