Lesson One!
Having purchased your patterning material, we are going to stick it onto the window/door surround with double sided tape.
TIP: use masking tape as the base and put the double sided on that, otherwise you will spend lots of time removing the sticky stuff!

Stick your pattern material on and cut round it, leaving a joining edge at the front.

Do the same for the windscreen having practiced on the sides!

Attach the bottom piece and mark all round..

Remove and see how it looks. OK to me!

Try it out on your expensive fabric! The side pattern will double up and there is enough fabric if we split the windshield in the middle. Done for economy!

We'll sew it together tomorrow. Watch this space!

Well, we've sewn it together and it fits OK. The seam position is just right. We just need to put the tape around the outside and fit the DOT fasteners which are in the post...
Should be done tomorrow.

It fits perfectly!. The slight crease will come out when I fix the middle DOT fasteners tomorrow, if and when they arrive.

The view's OK too. All for less than 80 quid.

Someone had to hold the fabric while Jan measured it! :)
Oh, and I added the fasteners and drilled the holes in the MH. Very tricky job that!
