Maybe my investment in "Waxoil" treatment when new might be worthwhile on my Mk 7 Transit. 6 years on and no rust yet!

He hasn't spent that much on it. Mostly labour... A couple of hundred quid on OEM panels, lots of welding and work and he has a great horse box which he paid next to nothing for. My guess is that vehicle probably owes him £1,000 - £2,000 and is worth a lot more than that now.

I am seriously impressed with his work.

Looks like he's done a good job if he hadn't the skills to do it himself probably would have Ben scrapyard candidate.

It was certainly an interesting watch. No way would I take that on myself but fair play to him the end results were brilliant.

That said, no way would I have done the engine job you are doing either
