Used this one a few times.

Cons, it's currently undergoing an upgrade, fair bit of building work. Some workmen working and living on the site, not an issue.
Needs a bit of a tidy up.

Pros.
Location, close to the road network.
Supermarket Auchan close, fuel and LPG.
Swimming pool closed but will be open from 1st May.
Best part the staff are excellent, good grasp of English and went te extra mile to find us a garage to do the work, nothing was too much trouble for them well done.

It's a campsite for short term stay I'm Lyon, not one fir a holiday. There is a good bus connection to the cente if Lyon, but, with Tilly a bit difficult. Taxi about €30 each wa, about a 20 min drive.

It's handy, showers are ok.

As i said if you want a base in Lyon for a stopover, it's fine..

The Southern Rhone wine region starts just south of Lyon if you're in need of some after the garage issues

When we went full timing and on our first trip to Europe in 2007 we stayed at Indigo Camping in Lyon. Wonder if this is the same. It was scruffy then and undergoing some refurbishment but the staff were lovely and we were on our big adventure so nothing bothered us.

I wonder if they are doing it up for next years Rugby World cup, quite a few games in Lyon and base for the All Blacks.

Yes, it was called Indigo Camping, now under new ownership I understand.

We stayed 3 nights on our way south. Found Lyon a good city break. Used the bus and tram to get into the city. Dont leave it too late to come back otherwise the tram bus connection may leave you for an hour waiting. Good fuel and supermarket stop.
