Hi everyone, in desperate search of a new door for our motorhome, can anyone help please :)

Even a second hand one would do :)

many thanks

Try a Google Search for motorhome parts there's quite a few breakers a lot who list what they sell on line
does it need a new door or just parts

I don't think that most makers of motorhomes make their own habitation doors.

They buy them in as a kit. Windows are the same.

Do you know who makes the door on your motorhome?

Try a caravan breakers.

Could try Belgium breakers look under "Home Car" they made quite a few of the lunar badged vans.

Forgot that our Roadstar 800 door is a Hartal the name should be on a nice badge on the inside of the door and etched on the window

Thanks MikeD and Madcaravanner - I know its not a Hartal but have emailed them to see if they have one that might fit the gap. It might be a "myriad"

Thanks Sue waiting a reply xxxx

So the bad news is that the door is no longer available. Apparently it was a euramax door :(

Then you really need to go down the caravan breaker route with a size that would allow modifying to fit.

When our Lunar was written off two years ago the salvage was sold at ....

https://www.car-transplants.co.uk

who are in Cheshire and deal with the insurance write offs for Allianz.

Also, think sidewards and try to find out if the same door was fitted to any other motorhomes/caravans. Is it worth trying Euromax doors themselves to see if they know which other marques it was fitted to?

Our Lunar was originally supplied by

http://www.toddsmotorhomes.co.uk

Who are just down the road in Lancashire where the Lunar's were made. Try and ring the parts department there. They were a great help to me if I had any problems with my 720.
Good Luck.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions however cannot find the correct size door or an alternative to fit the space. We have tried Hartals, Lunar, Olearys, loads of breakers all to no avail

Are there any suggestions as to where to go to get one manufactured?

Many thanks

I would post the size of the hole in the side of the motorhome left after you remove the door. There is a few on here who might fancy a google search on your behalf. (y):)

Have you still got the old door?
Is it worth taking it apart to see if there is any manufacturers plates, part numbers, pattern numbers etc.

If you dont have the old door, look for any identical MHs for sale and ask the dealer/seller if they can find a make/model/ part number on the door.

Consider making a template of the opening with hinge/ lock positions and have a look round a few dealers to look at other MHs to offer the template up to etc.

was wondering if it is possible to fit a larger door with new frame to van as do converters for disabled ...
