It's a doddle in France --- and cheaper.Anyone tried Bilborough top services on A64 lately, conflicting info on 2 lpg websites. I would like to have full bottles before travelling later this week

Could be a plan, Portsmouth bound, thanksIf you are heading down the M1, Woodall services J31-30 have it , easy access 99p
Also known as a 'euro' connectorThe Spanish have the bullet one.
Top to bottom - anti clockwise German - Spanish - French - English extension.Might leave it until Spain then, which adapter?
We travelled over border yesterday from Ayamonte to Vila Real in Portugal to check out wines at Pingo. Called at LPG station opposite Pingo. Really helpful owner filled underslung tank for us whilst giving advice on best wines to buy. My adaptors were new and previously unused. A good lesson was learned that day about Lpg filling and Portuguese wines.if you have a Morrisons supermarket nearby or on the way most of those appear to sell lpg. I filled at Morrisons, Grays early Feb. on the way to Brighton. Only about 3 miles off the M25 just before the Dartford bridge if you are using the tunnel.
When we tried to get gas two weeks ago, both the west and east bound garages on the A64 at Bilborough appeared not to have LPG. The west bound one wasn’t showing LPG on its illuminated sign board and two days later, on our return, the east bound garage no longer showed LPG on its price board.Anyone tried Bilborough top services on A64 lately, conflicting info on 2 lpg websites. We have never yet run out of LPG at any time , I could say it’s because we have a great supplier compared to others but my suspicion is something completely different, we can’t even purchase product at the prices that supermarkets are selling for .When we tried to get gas two weeks ago, both the west and east bound garages on the A64 at Bilborough appeared not to have LPG. We also tried filling up at Asda, Monks Cross but they were sold out and couldn’t say when the next delivery would take place. Ended up going to Autogas 2000 at Thirsk, where we filled up. The owner is a member on this site Basildog and is very helpful.
Pleased that this was possible. I’ve checked on my LPG app and indeed it is showing again as having LPG as at 27/02/2023. Note what you say about the slow pump. The only time I tried to fill up there, it took so long for the gas to arrive both we and the owner thought there was a fault and we drove on.Just topped up bilborough eastbound 99.9p but very slow pump
Shell fleet, Cove rd GU51 2SH usually has LPG, it was 76.9p a couple of days ago, it's showing as temporally unavailable as of yesterday but it normally has regular deliveries so worth checking if you're travelling down the M3 on your way to Portsmouth.Could be a plan, Portsmouth bound, thanks
Fill up in France. Loads about but a whisker more expensive.Looking to refill LPG for my Safefill bottle for France in April but I have telephone to suppliers, Bude and near Holsworthy both informing me that its in short supply and "emergency" services, ie care home etc are taking priority. They have suggested it could be towards end of April before this changes
I've just checked and it 0.95p in Germany --0.87p in FranceFill up in France. Loads about but a whisker more expensive.
I always make a point of telling our local place that. I got caught out last time I went though,. I filled up with over £100 of diesel before noticing the sign saying they had no LPG! This was the first time I'd known them to be out. When I paid for the diesel I made a point of telling them I had only put that in because I thought hey had lpg.Good thinking. We need to encourage LPG outlets.
Not so easy in France anymore!I've just checked and it 0.95p in Germany --0.87p in France
Only 0.88p in the UK
I can afford it
