Anyone tried Bilborough top services on A64 lately, conflicting info on 2 lpg websites. I would like to have full bottles before travelling later this week
Alternatively whats the situation in France and Spain?

It's a doddle in France --- and cheaper.

Might leave it until Spain then, which adapter?

Top to bottom - anti clockwise German - Spanish - French - English extension.

if you have a Morrisons supermarket nearby or on the way most of those appear to sell lpg. I filled at Morrisons, Grays early Feb. on the way to Brighton. Only about 3 miles off the M25 just before the Dartford bridge if you are using the tunnel.

We travelled over border yesterday from Ayamonte to Vila Real in Portugal to check out wines at Pingo. Called at LPG station opposite Pingo. Really helpful owner filled underslung tank for us whilst giving advice on best wines to buy. My adaptors were new and previously unused. A good lesson was learned that day about Lpg filling and Portuguese wines.

When we tried to get gas two weeks ago, both the west and east bound garages on the A64 at Bilborough appeared not to have LPG. The west bound one wasn’t showing LPG on its illuminated sign board and two days later, on our return, the east bound garage no longer showed LPG on its price board.
We also tried filling up at Asda, Monks Cross but they were sold out and couldn’t say when the next delivery would take place. Ended up going to Autogas 2000 at Thirsk, where we filled up. The owner is a member on this site Basildog and is very helpful.

We have never yet run out of LPG at any time , I could say it’s because we have a great supplier compared to others but my suspicion is something completely different, we can’t even purchase product at the prices that supermarkets are selling for .
Funny that us paying the daily market rate we have no supply issues 🤔

Just topped up bilborough eastbound 99.9p but very slow pump

Pleased that this was possible. I’ve checked on my LPG app and indeed it is showing again as having LPG as at 27/02/2023. Note what you say about the slow pump. The only time I tried to fill up there, it took so long for the gas to arrive both we and the owner thought there was a fault and we drove on.

Could be a plan, Portsmouth bound, thanks
Shell fleet, Cove rd GU51 2SH usually has LPG, it was 76.9p a couple of days ago, it's showing as temporally unavailable as of yesterday but it normally has regular deliveries so worth checking if you're travelling down the M3 on your way to Portsmouth.

Looking to refill LPG for my Safefill bottle for France in April but I have telephone to suppliers, Bude and near Holsworthy both informing me that its in short supply and "emergency" services, ie care home etc are taking priority. They have suggested it could be towards end of April before this changes:cry::cry::cry:

Fill up in France. Loads about but a whisker more expensive.

Clacton on Sea A133 towards Clacton - LPG 86p litre, filled up today on my way to Newhaven! Also filled up with diesel and mentioned I only bought the diesel because they had LPG, not sure if it will make any difference of course, but my reckoning is that if they can know that LPG will also attract motorhomes to fill up with diesel at well over £100 a tank, then it might be worth them keeping the LPG, especially as there is plenty of supermarket petrol and other retailers only a few miles away!

Good thinking. We need to encourage LPG outlets.
I always make a point of telling our local place that. I got caught out last time I went though,. I filled up with over £100 of diesel before noticing the sign saying they had no LPG! This was the first time I'd known them to be out. When I paid for the diesel I made a point of telling them I had only put that in because I thought hey had lpg.

Having said that, I got some at Gordano services yesterday and only put lpg in, I wasn't going to pay their diesel prices

I've just checked and it 0.95p in Germany --0.87p in France
Only 0.88p in the UK

I can afford it
Not so easy in France anymore!
Bit late to this thread, but spent the day trying to fill up in France, to no avail! Seems there is a greater reluctance to sell to motorhomes these days. Only possible place available was closed as it was pre-pay only and was a Sunday - pay at pump only, but not for LGP. All motorway services seem to be the same, Total won’t sell to anyone who is not using it to fill a car tank! Definite ‘No’ to campers!
5 places tried and no fill up for us today!
🤞 for tomorrow.

Total banned motorhome LPG over 5 years ago. Try elsewhere, there's many others. Do you have myLPG.eu ap

Only fill up in France now. Never have had a problem. Avoid total if possible since their ban, but have used them, without question.
