Like PVCs the best
How easy or difficult is it to get LPG from a pump in Portugal ?
We have a PVC with an onboard LPG tank for heating and water. We have always managed to find stations with LPG pumps in France and Spain , although sometimes it’s meant a big detour.
We are thinking of venturing into Portugal, but will we struggle to find LPG (GPL) stations?
Thanks in advance

i had no problems filling up in portugal

Loads of places on the apps, we run on lpg so if we don't have a problem I can't see you will filling up once a month or so.

Plenty of garages but it is the only place I’ve ever been challenged filling a Gaslow tank (external filler.) So you may need to try more than one garage, if you strike unlucky.

We were told at one place don't fill bottles, I pointed at the external filler and told her it was a tank.

Never ever ever had any trouble filling my Gas Low bottles in Portugal... (except when they switched over to the Euro nozzle from the dish one and an English motorhome drove away with the garage's new nozzle thingy. Obviously got my own now).

JJ

Why were you challenged
What was the problem?
Woman came running out and said "we don't fill bottles" I pointed at the external filler and told her it was a tank she said OK & filled me. It was at Tavira on the Algarve.

I've certainly not had any bother except in the tanker strike last month when they limited it to €10 per person but I just used 2 garages.

Cheaper than Spain at the minute too.
Average in Spain has been 0.69l but most in Portugal have been 0.62l

Pretty much the same as Lenny - and like him I managed to convince him it was a tank. (Somehow, because he spoke very little English, but more than my Portuguese!). This was a BP garage in Beja in the Alentejo.

Not sure about Portugal but in Spain it is illegal to fill hab tanks so sometimes you have to be a bit crafty.
