Filled up with gas at this services yesterday @83.9p , when paying the cashier said make the most of it they are taking it away from them on 1st September (I don’t know who “they” are)😞

The same as the Shell garages, they are making way for electric car charges I suppose.

That's a shame. We've used it a few times
Handy location just off the M4, but also accessible from the ordinary A roads.

Can see that because can’t see they could have a charging station where the LPG pump is.

Maybe that’s what the stupid Irish rag‘d jet wash van (which was very dirty- good advert) was waiting for, van parked between two lots of pump and the drive wasn’t in the van and he wasn’t in a position to use pumps

Demand for refillable LPG is falling as fewer cars are now using it. The forecourts will only sell it if it is commercially viable, the demand from motorhome users will not support the current network. I don’t doubt that there will continue to be some outlets for us to use but we may have to plan ahead and go out of our way to get it. Perhaps outlets like the un-staffed Flogas Keysites will become more important to us.

That is bad news, especially given the lpg pump there wasn’t operational for several months until quite recently.

Not sure about Manchester. I have seen a few in S. Wales and the West Country. They show up on Filllpg as account sites, there is one at Wellington in Somerset. They haven’t caught on in a big way but I wonder if they might if the petrol stations stop selling lpg.

I think they took over the Countrywide key sites which were mainly midlands based

Filled up with LPG today at Chieveley, thought we better get in there before it might be no more. Unfortunately, the staff member who served me was unable to confirm whether the LPG is being discontinued. Will take another look in a couple of weeks…
