Hi all,
Can anyone clear up a confusion about LEZs across Europe, particularly Germany. We got an old motorhome last year which doesn’t warrant anything above a Euro3 sticker, so avoid LEZs. When we planned a trip across Europe last year, I could swear that loads of small LEZs appeared across Germany, making it nigh on impossible to do some routes I might have done, for example, across the Black Forest.
Looking again just recently, I can’t now see that there are anything like as many as I thought, so now wondering if it’s my memory or information sources which are faulty?
Also, can anyone recommend a reliable mapping source for LEZs? The Green Zones app annoyingly doesn’t seem to cover all countries (Italy, for example) and the Urban Access Regs site, whilst useful, doesn’t have a particularly responsive map and the information about some countries - particularly Italy - with lots of local schemes - isn’t particularly easy to navigate or understand.
Thanks a lot.
