Loose draw front

Got our MLI 580 2018 just before lockdown and starting to use it in earnest so sorting out a few issues.
The bottom [kitchen] draw front is loose, I've removed the plastic covers inside to reveal the screw heads and intend to add a bit of glue to the dowels before retightening - any comments? How do you release the draws to remove them completely? The draws especially the double one for cutlery are very stiff, is there any adjustment?

Drawers have a 'self-closing' mechanism, please see pix

To remove the drawers in ours you pull them out (gently) as far as possible and then lift from the front (hands at the side of the drawer and under the bottom works best for me - enough of the sniggers and smut please).

However yours looks as if there is a button that might have to be pushed in to allow the drawer to be removed. That drawer front does need attention but it should be an easy fix.

I imagine the runners have been stressed a bit by the drawers flying open on bends, a perennial MH problem if someone forgets to check all the catches before moving off.

look at the grey bit on the runner in your picture. the tab on the outer runner releases it allowing you to slide the drawer right out
