I've spotted a 1983 London Aire C Class with a 7#3 litre diesel stood on a blokes yard anybody know anything about them I must admit I never seen one before but I' m smitten.
just got to sort out an offer

I think I might have to dip back into RVOC I've lapsed that one but it will be worth the tenner or so to find out

I know little about them only they are made by Newmar who are regarded as a high end builder. I always thought they only made A class RVs, so you learn something every day. The 7.3 Powerstroke diesel is not a bad engine if oil changes have been done in line with manufacturers recommendations. The 7.3 was far more reliable than the 6 litre that replaced it, but due to new emissions controls in the US they could not get the 7.3 any cleaner.

thanks for that Snowbird I am going to have a better look next week it has been stood a while but it is a cracking looking motorhome I think more of a collectors item but we will see (y)(y)
