Log Book V5C trouble WRONG WEIGHT shown (1 Viewer)

Looking for some pointers here.

Our used MH was bought April this year, log book did say 4250 kgs
( I'm sure that was what was stated)
It was taxed by us on purchase.
PHGV. Private HGV
We had it classed as disabled a week ago by going to the Post Office,
Paid nothing for the tax, they took front part of logbook to send to DVLA
I am in receipt of full disability living allowance and had to show my certificate at the Post Office.

Told we would receive refund for unused part of the road tax, that bit I don't
care about BUT....

New logbook has come back showing 3501 Gross weight.

Now very worried, any tips on what to do welcome please

My experience calling any gov dept is BAD, especially DVLA

On a separate topic I got an £80 fine plus £19.90 costs for a works van being not taxed

It was, but took me 3 weeks emails, copy receipts, and over 98 mins of phone calls.
(I kept count thro a phone readout)
To prove otherwise.
Then got told best option was to pay it, then it would be refunded !!!!

Stuart - as ever with call centres it's the luck of the draw as to whether the call is taken by a halfwit or someone competent - it must have been my lucky day when I called ;-)

Somewhere on the V5 or enclosed paperwork it says to alter any mistakes on the V5 and return to DVSA.....enclose a cover letter explaining the error.
As it stated a gvw of 3501kg it is correctly registered as a PHGV just the incorrect weight.

Papajohn, had a look can't see it on new logbook.
Maybe I'm tired, haven't been out in MH for two weeks :-(
