Just spotted the new Hek-Y-Lock by this innovative German company https://styyl.de/products/hek-y-lock-die-zusatzsicherung-passend-fur-midi-heki-von-dometic but unfortunately they don't & won't ship to the UK :(

Not really a lock but should reduce the risk of rattles at the very least & like that their product is cut out of nylon sheets:

Don't know if this version is as tough being 3D printed but it is cheap & easily available https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/26570465...d=link&campid=5338547443&toolid=20001&mkevt=1 so have ordered a few to try. UK company Steelmans also sells other window locks in plastic similar to Lock M Out as discussed here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/windows-extra-security-options.253214/#post-4790121

Our 3D printed version arrived swiftly from Steelmans & seems very strong, good attention to detail with the design & well finished. Easy to fit & remove twisting into place & out. Not a security device as such but should at least reduce any movement when driving along so hopefully less risk of damage. Cost for 1 large & 2 small Hekis was £14 total. Went for orange as black ones could suffer more in the sun & can't miss them when going to open the window! The cover is on the motorhome (coming off soon though :dance2:) so the photos are a bit dark:

Yes, we use the steelman’s version on our midi Heki, almost lost it in Spain last year on the motorway, bar worked loose and Heki was bouncing around, very disconcerting! The locks work a treat.

This is my home made solution to stop my Heki from blowing open as there’s no real lock on the first vent position.

Yes I bought those orange hooks for the Heiki as a result of it blowing open, and also the side window ones all round. They look quite evident from outside, I don't know if that attracts unwanted attention or shows attention to security. Who knows how thieves minds work.
