Little roodee car park in Chester barriers broken

The barrier is open on the car park so free entry, after asking at the cafe it’s broken.
We may get a free night however I will ring tomorrow to ask how to proceed ie if they want any payment but I reckon we may get a free night 😄😄 yippee.
Mind it’s a pain to get in as you have to come in on the smaller road as the main one is closed plus half of Chester is undergoing roadworks, luckily I know the city so managed to gain access.
 
I have yet to visit and stay at Little Roodee.
Hows the parking for larger motorhomes ?? I re-call in the early days comments about taking up 2 spaces and long vehicles could only get in down the bottom where smaller vans often took up the large spaces..

It’s currently got a covid testing station plus a builders compound so it’s not as pretty as it used to be. We park in the coach or lorry spots as we get the large vehicle ticket on entry and as we are private hgv on my log book it feels justified.
 
Roodee is a cracking little place, walk down the river, or into chester, even a mooch round the racecourse if gates open.
I was heading that way tonight but things have once again stopped me.

Currently in bear and billet. Opera grill soon. Quick food bag nosh down before the match (personally the footy is for phil im not fussed 🥱😁)
