Lisbon

Hello All,

We tried to visit Lisbon in the motorhome a few years ago but it didnt feel right. Does anyone have any advice for us having another go, ie for parking/staying a night. We do have a large dog who will be with us.

I did search previous posts and noticed it was mentioned not to take a motorhone into Lisbon as it may be broken into. Any thoughts grateful.

We have spent time in Lisbon, although not in the van. some of the streets are quite narrow. Not a great place to explore I would have thought. Find an outlying site and bus in might be best. There is a campsite at Setubul.

Never been there (in a Moho), but there are a few places nearby on Search for Sites..

Camping Lisbon?

Not great but plenty of space and nice and close.

There is an aire at Belem right by the river. Esplanata ganata. Great spot but always crowded. After all it is in a great city. One of my favourite cities and good public transportation. Trams are a super way of seeing the city.

We went a month or so ago. We parked where Lenny HB suggested which was a short ferry ride into the centre. Cost a couple of euros and loads of space plus a small beach to walk Beech on. We left Beech in the motorhome during the day as she's happy to snooze for a few hours being 12.

Excellent, thank you for your replies. Cant wait to go next week, although my brother has just tested positive and i was with him the day before albeit outside, slightly concerened.
