Just bought this Bobby Dazzler from the middle of Lidl, 7.5m €9.99
I don't like the flimsy flat ones so this is perfect as it's still compact, the tube is about half an inch OD, doesn't feel like it will kink easily but still flexible. We're in Spain but I suppose they'll sell them in the UK too

Had a similar one from Lidl a number of years ago and still going strong. From memory it started out at 15m but I've cut it into two (5m + 10m?) to save unfurling the whole thing when only a few metres needed.
Think it was £9.99 when we got it.
Standby for the "not food grade" comments!:whistle2:

lol, the amount of homes still with lead pipes and they worry about food grade hoses

We got one of these for Christmas and other than the fact it takes 10 years to fill its ace, tiny and sits just behind the drivers seat.
£32 😳🥺 rather reminds me of the price differences between UK and Spanish camping £32 vs €9.99

Quite a good comment on lead pipes.

Just love a
Contamination in your main tank, did it years ago never again.

I just chuck those sanitation tabs in, if you dose correctly it doesn't alter taste.

I used any available hose, dedicated to filling fresh water tank and containers, for about 50 years before I heard of 'Food Grade' hose, I ruminated on this information for a while, looked at the particular Spanish water source I was using and promptly forgot that small gem of information.

The hozelock pico ones are prone to leaking at the joint to the reel. I have 2 that I bought cheap faulty. You can strip the reel and repair. Hozelock put a spring inside the hose to prevent it damaging as it exits the reel but it doesnt work. Fixed on twice now. Great when working and very compact

Lead in pipes is dangerous but as long as they are not disturbed they are probably coated in calcefication or other mineral deposits preventing Pb access to water. On the other hand there are plently of nasty chemicals easily leached from hosepipes. You could work from the principle that it must all be out of the same 6 foot length i use all the time.
