Lenny's Modding the new Mini Gin Palace 2

Just out of interest, Lenny, when you sell or part ex your old moho, do all your mods make any difference to the value or the price you get ?

My old B544 (could have been one of your old ones) had loads of extras and fittings but getting a p/ex price none of the dealers seemed interested. In fact of 4 dealers from around the UK, they all gave the same value.
Oy thing that made any differ was the full air suspension.

I need to revisit this thread as I want to move forward my waste pipe like you have done, anything I should watch out for or need to buy?

May need a couple of joiners and a bit of pipe, easy job probably hard for you. 🤣

👍 that’s good news, I’ve got a 143 coming soon and want Lenny’s extensive advice 😂

Looking forward to the continuation of your thread, hopefully it won’t get spoiled again.

Hi Lenny, thanks for reopening the thread.

On post #47 there's an image of your solar panels, did you take the feed from the roof, through the fridge vent, rather than drilling a hole in the roof, maybe you have some images showing the detail?

I'm looking to fit 3 x 130w panels on our 143 when it finally arrives, I've got the T tourer so won't be able to get a panel upfront.

My current thoughts are:
390w solar & victron MPPT
Multiplus 2 3000w. (We have a Dometic AC unit fitted)
Shunt, to read
Batteries van already has a 90ah Super B lithium, I need to add more capacity, but my thoughts are that I'll not be able combine a Fogstar 300ah with the 90ah Super B? Realistically I'd like at least 300ah.

My friend DomK has drawn out as attached and I'm pretty sure I can't get 4 panels on the roof, there's no room at the front, due to roof vent.

Sizes based on Craig Solar 130 w 115cm x 58cm

Nice, have you used 2 slimline up front and standard at the back?
Does the feed go through the fridge vent?

Cheers,
Neil

No 2 seperate glands onto a 100/50 controller

Thanks Michael, did the glands go through the fridge vent or did you drill a hole in the roof?

Cheers
