Leave your motorhome at home and pretend you are there with live web cams. I am sitting by the Trevi fountain in Italy

Grindelwald, Switzerland. Weather looks similar to today's weather in my bit of Yorkshire.

Interesting seeing the locals social distancing with only some wearing masks. Not a lot of tourists though.

seems a lot of live cams are offline during this locktime period, so have gone back to watching the wildlife cams, am currently watching the kestrel cam, she's sitting on five eggs, she just popped out and is back on 'em, hope the link comes out okay..

Sometimes I think everyone on here has got me on ignore, :( I started a thread like this a few days ago and never had any response.
I think it's uncanny looking at your favourite spots and not a soul in sight, try st marks Square Venice, useuly chocker, not one person.

I haven’t got any one on ignore - just didn’t see your post sorry ( I bet it was better than this one anyway);)

My apologies Mr Chaser, it is unusual for me to miss any of your posts, they are always interesting in one way or the other.(y) Anyway, I find that being a fly on the wall watching the locals going about their business Seeing how they are keeping their distance and some wearing a mask is an interesting comparison.. I watched a couple of police standing at the fountain this morning, talk about keeping a distance. I thought the male was about to kiss the female officer.

Torbole, looking towards Riva. Been there several times. Today they seem to have weather similar to England.

I was only joking, but sometimes it is strange when you don't get a response to something (y)

If you posted it in U shaped lounge I (voluntarily - I'm not banned) wouldn't have seen it.

Now this is interesting, we have been watching it for a couple of days, these three coppers are stopping people for being outside. They have carted a couple off and checking the paperwork.

I sit in the van thinking of sitting on the banks of the Rhine in the sun at Rudesheim watching the barges chugging past. Waiting for the boats to take take us to the Rhine in Flames festival.

Quality video...

Well well it is all happening in the fountain today. It has been drained for cleaning, the police supervised the collection of the coins and now the team are cleaning.

Very strange to see some of the famous tourist sights empty but for white vans.
White van man seems to have won after all.
When the world reopens will be lovely to see all the people back.
Thanks to the original poster for introducing us to this site.

Italy is having a major clampdown on stragglers avoiding the lock down today. The square is full of police stopping and checking everyone who passes.
