Totally agree with what she said ( Jules ) 😊and others.
it was a pleasure spending time with you all ,
New & old ,
obviously miss friends that couldn’t make it sadly.
Sorry couldn’t say goodbye to some of you as we left just after 5am to miss the traffic,
and apologies if we woke any of you .
Martin Teresa Lee Brian
Terrific rally thank you.

We're back home, a much drier drive than on the way down.

Thanks to Teresa & Martin and Lee & Brian. You must have put an amazing amount of time & effort into this rally and we really enjoyed it.

It was a lovely site in a good location with great public transport. There's so much do & see in Brighton, Worthing, Shoreham and beyond. It's been great.

Thanks again
Rob & Debs

Was just gonna pop down say hello 🤦🏻🤣

Unlike most others I'm not home yet, but that was never going to happen.
I visited Poole and got my awning sorted quickly and cheaply, unfortunately I don't think tomorrow's bill will be as palatable as I think I need a new alternator.
At least I have found someone to hopefully do it tomorrow provided the part is available.
Most places reckoned around 2 weeks before they could look at it.

Thanks to Teresa & Martin and Lee & Brian for all your hard work, it was a very enjoyable rally and good to meet so many people.

We'd only been there a week:rolleyes::LOL: sorry we missed you though
I popped down twice I think she was hiding from me.
:LOL:not at all Lenny, it would've been nice to meet you & put a face to a name

Numpty question but is that what was causing your interior lights issue Brendan?
It was really lovely to have a catch up with you btw, don't let it be as long next time!

No that was just a simple fuse on the hab side as I thought and all sorted now.
The alternator is totally unrelated.
If only it could be fixed by replacing a 10A fuse.

Must have been an impressive sight seeing your 'beast' on the back of a recovery truck

No recovery truck needed thankfully, it was still drivable for short distances.
Only would have been a problem if trying a longer drive when there eventually wouldn't have been enough battery power to keep the engine running and then you also lose trivial peripherals like power steering, brake servo etc. to stop somewhere safely.

I was actually parked up where I had chosen for the night, the mechanic reckoned that area wasn't so great/safe so suggested I move to his street where there was some quiet parking.
Excellent service so far.
