Lake District wild/cls.

Due to lots reason we will be not going abroad.

Planning to visit the Lake District in May. Looking for wild camps / cls ?

Good luck there are very few places that are available now you'd be better off looking at pub stops there are quite a few now

Haven't been to the lakes for years, we sailed there every year when my boys where young often based on Park Coppice or in Scout Camps. But with large tracts of the land owned by the N-T, and the whole area being an AofONB. I suspect you will really struggle to do any "boondocking". There are/where a significant number of C-L/C-S sites though (or used to be). At the last count I had at least 35+ listed, but that was 2005. Also try "Pub Stops" if you are on the move and just need one night?.
