For anyone thinking of buying a new ladder - we should be getting a Motorhome Fun discount deal from Midland Ladders soon but will post this separately We are especially looking for a deal on this one as ideal for cleaning the motorhome (recommended by Allanm see http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/cleaned-the-motorhome-roof-today-with.102319/ ) & will replace a whole pile of our old ladders Broken Link Removed

I've also ordered a set womble it's a bit late for me though, (horse stable door) I was installing a gas boiler in a garage and using a pair of steps extended at a very poor angle, they slipped and I fell backwards what seemed in slow motion. I had time to think that I didn't want to crack my head on the concrete floor and put my arm behind me to save myself, this was in 2000. Now 2015 and 5 operations later on both shoulders and elbow and my shoulders are now wrecked, one of reasons I took early retirement 18 months ago. I couldn't claim anything for injuries as I was self employed at time.

Harleyjohn - sorry to hear about your accident but glad you are still here to tell the tale! Hope you don't have any ongoing pain or discomfort. On a positive note though being retired means more time for Fun & rallies

Just received the Ladder Pads which look very substantial & best price that I could find online at £13.99 & prompt delivery from the eBay seller. Just need Midlands Ladders to come back with their Funster discount now so I can order some shiny new ladders to put them on & try!
