Hi club, does anyone know a good camp site for my motorhome in this area??? I have 2 children, so maybe near the beach or with swimming pool, things for them to do. Thanks Neil

We stayed here a few years ago, a bit dated with lots of trees.
Right on edge of town and access to the beach via a gate direct from the site

The following year we stayed at Jard sur mer about 10 miles up the coast, much nicer site in our opinion with large grassy pitches again on edge of town.
Site had brand new outdoor and indoor pools with slides etc.
Walking distance to Super U and local shops and restaurants market on main street.
Beach and small harbour about a 10 minute stroll through back gate from site.

Camping L'Océano d'Or | ACSI

Both sites are in ACSI book.
We always had a look round the site before we checked in (always asked first at reception) some sites we chose not to stay.

We stayed at Les Écureuils at Jard sur Mer many moons ago. Easy cycling into the village. Visited la Tranche sur Mer. Lovely!

It’s a matter of individual preference. Baie d’Aunis Camping is family run and in a great location 50 yds to the sandy beach and a 5 minute stroll into a lively town. A great surf beach a couple of miles away with a huge car park. I stay there for a few days most years, one of my favourite sites.
