Kontiki 665p step not working (1 Viewer)

Hi, my 2003 Swift Kontiki 665p step has stopped working. I’ve looked at the fuses under the plastic cover above the engine but they are all OK. There are three relays under there as well, could it be one of them - I tried to remove one of them, and the plastic cover came off! I put it back on so hoping it is ok.
Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? Many thanks!

The relays under the bonnet are linked to the step , (also battery split charging and fridge operation , engine running) but only for operating the step when it closes if the engine is started. But the fuses that are with them need to be good for normal step operation at other times and could be worth checking again . There should also be a separate step operating relay that may be near the step in/out switch .
