Hi. I run a Fiat Ducato 2009 6m motorhome on Michelin Agilis CrossClimate. I have been informed that Konig XG12 won't be able to fit my tyres 215/70/15. Any more info much appreciated as I cant seem to find any info on this. Thanks

215/70/15 is the size regardless of make.
It's a 15" rim and the sidewall is 70% of the tread width (215mm)
It may be the 12mm links (KG12) are too big and could foul the wheel arch or suspension components.
Try the 9mm or 10mm range of the Konig/Thule brand.

You are missing an important piece of info what set of XG 12 are they eg XG12 - "235" etc as this denotes the profile of tyre size each one is suitable for .

Why won't they? Who said they won't?
Chains are sized to tyre overall size, not brand

They are available in your 215/70/15 size.
To be honest, 12mm is not that big for a heavy MH. (
My chains are weissenfels REX TR 4x4 are 17mm (cars are usually between 7-9mm) SUVS 9-12mm, vans > 12mm
Rule of thumb is the heavier the vehicle, the biggest the chain and if you go too light and a chain breaks... It's messy

Ive never needed Snow chains in 40 years of driving. Even up in the Arctic Circle in winter.

But I always carry them, bit of belt and braces.

Has anyone else had to use them?
Tam Northernraider did a few weeks ago in Greece and he might be using them again soon, in Greece again.

According to the Konig they do a size to fit but 12mm too small for a Motorhome 16mm more sensible.
Because Motorhome tyres have a higher profile than car tyres the chains are not directly comparable.
I have Konig Xb 16-245 which fit my 225/75 R16 tyres.
