You could be right (is there a German version of him?) …

OK - let’s have a quick look round - all present and correct - yep - that’ll do - I’ll just tick all the boxes and sign the form.

Interesting that they sit the tanks on top of the heating pipes.

He might have had a holiday job there😂.

If you’re van is a VW pvc it will probably have started life as a van and then had holes cut in it here and there. That maybe the root cause of your problems, whereas the Knaus video showed build up from a bare chassis. That’s why their QA/QC is pretty good.

Knaus produce Tabbert caravans, Weinsberg MH and Morello MH.
They've been doing this for a good number of years.

We did have a VW-based campervan (Bilbos), but we sold it a few years ago. Construction-wise it was virtually faultless. Our current van is a Ducato-based German PVC. We looked at a BoxStar 600 before buying our current van. It had the layout we wanted, and appeared to be very well constructed. Unfortunately, we couldn't source one in a reasonable time. Our van is well-designed, doesn't leak (thankfully), but some aspects of the interior fit and finish are disappointing.

You are right that Knaus own Morelo but they have their own dedicated production facility, although the Video of the Knaus Tabbert facility makes Morelo look small.

When did that happen and are Knaus still owned by venture capitalists?
