Kingsbury Water Park - Thefts From Caravans

I hear from a camping friend the below news As he was staying their this weekend (2-4 may 2015)
Kingsbury Water Park CCC site suffered numerous thefts over this weekend and several bikes were stolen
The bikes were locked and so the chains were cut.
3 caravans were attempted to be broken into unsuccessfully.
One van was broken into by removing the window on Saturday night. A box of cornflakes were stolen. The TV was left ??

If you are planning on going please be vigilant and don't leave stuff about needlesslyand take the usual security precautions wherever you go..

Wardens warned us about this when we visited last, but extra security was put on overnight, highly visible 5 bikes, all there next morning.

Several thefts at a timeshare we were at in Tenerife!The rep said you have got to remember thieves also go on holidays but they don't always have a break from "work"

Thanks for that one of our favourite sites....visit at least 2/3 times a year.

Just goes to show you can get robbed no matter where you are...

I hope this doesn't put people off camping at campsites.
