It is always a sad time of the year..despite a sunny day in Tunbridge wells in Kent today, we did have the first frost settle on the cars overnight. Yesterday with the impending weather forecast we decided to drain the water tank, open all the taps, drain the water heater tank.. open the taps to the outside shower..need to remember that one on an RV, it is the one that can pop the seal if it freezes (it did last year).. also open the grey and black dump valves.

Put the dehumidifier back on the work top with the timer ready to be turned on in due course. Had to put the heater on in the bathroom (Connected via the house power and the on board Sterling inverter)... we have the LPG gas heater set to a few degree's above freezing.. Cupboards all open... food dates checked and removed as needed, fridge and freezer doors left open wedge in the cool box lid... Covers on all the furnishing and blinds drawn... Sad ..

will run the engine and the generator every couple of weeks and do the tyre pressures (wheel covers on the tyres as also on the screen) ... every month recharge all the rechargeable batteries .. Roll on next Spring... Looks like Peterborough is going to be the first away again...

Thanks Bob, your post made me check overnight low temperature forecasts. We haven't had anything more than a bit of dew yet but it looks like it might get a bit low in the middle of next week, though still above freezing.

We plan to use the van over winter but it looks like I might have to start dropping the water between trips.
