I'm afraid I am going to have to cancel.
I need an operation fairly urgently sometime in the next two weeks (date not yet confirmed) so I won't be able to commit.
I hope everybody has a great time, Startfords one of my favourite rallies of the year.

If anyone is going to Stratford from the east or north be aware there are major road works at the junction of the A46 (Coventry eastern bypass) and the A45. If possible the junction is best avoided particularly at rush hours. I have just got to work out the best way around it myself.

Hi. Only joined funsters yesterday, saw this today. Looks good fun....OH not yet retired and no more holiday time left. Is it possible to just turn up on the Saturday for one night? Will we still get a discount if we pay on the day? Will we be able to park with the rest of you? Sorry about all the questions...never done this before (only 5 nights clocked up in the MH so far).

re discount no you won't get the discount if you pay on the day. You are not supposed to park with the rest of us either but if there is any way we can sneak you down to our field you can bet your bottom dollar we will do it The more the merrier.

So.....can I book in advance then, for just the one night? Or does it have to be the whole week?

Actually, I've just phoned the organizers and she said that we can turn up on the day and get the discount and she will direct us to your area. The only downside is that we have to pay the weekend fee of £38.00 as there is no one night fee. We could stay the whole weekend for that but, as OH is working Friday and Monday, we can't do that.

When I booked I asked if I could maybe come a day earlier and I was told yes but I would have to pay an extra fiver, I thought that was pretty good, saying that I will still keep to my Thursday arrival, looking forward to meeting everyone, this is my first time so I'm a nearby!

Just a thought,,,, Come as a day visitor, so only £5 in or maybe someone still has free tickets from MMM..
You could overnight in Stratford as I understand near the leisure centre it's officially allowed.
Not as good as having the weekend with us but better than nothing...
