Booked and paid, form filled in. We're planning to arrive on Thursday but if I can arrange cover at work will try to modify the booking to arrive on Monday.

Extended power will be sorted following a visit to Telford to see young Dave next month.

With all of the chatter about weighbridges, anyone coming this way....
The Warwickshire trading standards weighbridge is about 2 miles off Junction15 of the M40, going towards Warwick rather than Stratford.
Easy access, loads of room and a double plate. So all you do is stop with front axle on one plate and rear axle on the other, wait, and they wave to tell you to come and get the numbers. All very civilised.

If you want trading standards certificates, I think they are expensive (I think about £20), but, if you just want to take note of the numbers, they didn't charge me. Seemed pleased that I was taking the trouble to check.
