Nah......a harmless little grass snake - it was more scared than he was

Picked it up with a stick, popped it in a box and released it in the wooded area the other side of the garden - simple

Dan was most upset - he wanted to keep it as a pet oh:

DONT kill it or hurt it, they live on other pests etc.

Adders are smaller and more distinctive markings. Best thing for them is a seven iron.
Can take the head right off with a seven iron.

I feel I must comment on, and inform you of my dismay at your response re the treatment of Adders
any resonable golfer would know a seven iron is over kill and the sound from a 3 wood is so much more satifying

I hope you golfing guys were only joking about killing Adders:Angry:
They Like the Smooth and the Grass snake are protected species and killing them can lead to prosecution and a criminal record.
I for one would not hesitate to report anyone I saw killing them.

More than 30 adders have been spotted by members of Galashiels Golf Club at their course on Ladhope Hill.
