Bar none, get the beer in, crisps ready, no talking at all through this one, the best film EVER made, still get excited and goosebumps.

When it first came out all those years ago I was so mesmerised and taken aback that I went to the cinema 7 nights in a row to watch it. Incredible.

I even started practising and bought some Nunchakus, nearly bleeding knocked myself out.

Sit back tonight and let the DRAGON ENTER 9pm-11.10pm on Spike.

If I remember correctly it was rated 18 I went to see it when I was 12 :)

Good film (y)

After all these years I bet you're disappointed.
Crap picture quality.
Crap sound quality.

Rubbish, I've seen it a 1000 times at least, I don't go in for all this high definition, ultra sound, 3D nonsense.
I can quite happily watch a classic from all those years ago, a great film is a great film, whether black and white or whatever.

This calls for the start of a best film thread.

I'll open with The Third Man.

Yes, dead same foe me Brian, great memories of growing up. We've just got back home from shopping, beers in, a few snacks, dogs will be let out at 8.45, then settle down for an absolute classic.

The first time I saw it was in, Basal Switzerland, many many years ago, it was in English with German subtitles, thay just did not get it and thought we were mad weaving are arms about an screaming, was with about 8 other English drivers, even on the tram back to our trucks everybody kept well clear of us.

Is this the Bruce Lee film?

I remember watching that at the cinema when I was 12 or 13 and after the film everybody wanted to fight each other:)

Got to be "Shane"

This made me laugh all those years ago, still does and was filmed after Bruce Lee came on the scene,

Yeah, but it's not even standard TV quality.
Might as well watch Dixon of Dock Green. :D

Anther vote for Third Man

but also

Brief Encounter

African Queen

Lawrence of Arabia (for scenic shots)

Ryan's Daughter(?)

On Golden Pond.

Red Balloon

Breakfast at Tiffany's

So you can tell I am into people reacting not action movies.

The list also gives my age away.

Ho Lee Shit is Bruce Lee's second cousin twice departed but never made any films:D

Never heard of it but I'll be dancing at the Retro Festival anyway, much more fun.

The Eagle has Landed for me, monochrome makes it seem so much more authentic.
