It's always cherry tomatoes............

Not as bad as the flying eggs we had when in Ireland (not in the fridge though) ... when we went over a 'ghost' sleeping policeman (it was a channel in the road that hadn't been filled) ... made a hell of a mess!

Veg in the bottom pullout drawers, rest of the fridge for beer, wine and cider.
If one falls out it saves thinking about what to drink.

when I bought the current van I found this in the boot. use1.jpg great for hanging a wet coat in the shower. when the fridge lock broke after spewing contents all over the van I thought of an alternative use.use2.jpg as the lock is crap, when on the move I use this as back up! not had a spillage since!

As we left French eurotunnel terminal heading for SW France we heard a bang, Maude looks around and said the fridge door had fallen off, “yeah, yeah” I said thinking it was another of her jokes until we stopped in the first Aire and this was the scene that greeted me.....and all the contents spread across the floor. Copious amounts of duct tape and fridge door works as good as new.

I just leave the dropped beers until last (y) No toms in the fridge. I now do a locker check once set up; so many years of stuff hitting the wife’s napper that I thought this year I better do that.

Ours is always "Suprise pizza!". We can squeeze a small pizza in our Smev oven, but they never fit in the tiny Dometic fridge, so we tend to balance it end-on in the door pocket. Always fun catching a pizza.

On more serious note.
I have a Dometic fridge with the freezer above the fridge.
Moisture from the freezer causes deterioration of the little 'claw' style lock so that sometimes it isn't retained and chaos ensues.

Planning to swap them round.

Cherry tomatoes are easy peasy to clean up, try left over homemade curry flying out the fridge! That can really spoil your day??

Never ever put pickled beetroot in the fridge it makes one hell of a mess if dropped.
Not just pickled beetroot. The cooked stuff can be just as bad when you put it in a leaky plastic container, as we found out in France. I blame our local Chinese take away........... they need to use stronger containers

We forgot we put a large water melon on the worktop after a tea stop, next bend it rolled off and exploded when it hit the floor...

The mess was over pretty much everything including the dog:unsure:

Last year as I drove round the winding Snowdonia roads my entire fridge escaped its moorings and slid out.
