Parked on a cliff top at Durness and the wind is rocking us about a bit people are getting their awnings in and we’ve decided not to try and get the polar screen on, which seems to be the same as most others here.

Not trying to 'Top Trump' you or anything, but I'm off to Stonehaven again this weekend and this is tomorrows weather..... Wind speed in the mid 50mph....... Now, that'll be interesting and definitely no awning will be out tomorrow!!.

I was surprised to read this morning that HMS Queen Elizabeth and a few other members of the group had legged it back to Devonport instead of carrying on with the sabre rattling exercise. Putin must be cacking it now.

Here in St David’s Pembrokeshire it was 65mph most of yesterday. All night it felt like we were in aircraft with bad turbulence. Today 55 and reducing to 40 ish - hopefully.

Still hammering it down and very windy. If we ever come all this way again for a UK 'holiday' it will be too soon. We could have done all this in Bolsover, worse than lockdown. East coast or nothing in future.
