I’ve just seen this in my Facebook stream…not sure if it’s true but thought it may be of interest!!

I've had payout on my Audi diesel in the past couple of weeks. I know Mercedes is being class-actioned too. I've not heard of other manufacturers being hit though.
 
I find this whole "diesel gate" to be a bit of a scam, how has anyone owning a diesel been disadvantaged? If anyone could claim surely it should be your neighbours etc who breath in the gases?
This is purely "ambulance chasing" by the solicitors, they will be the main beneficiaries of all of this, and need to be shut down, if not, you or your business could be the next one they target to put out of business.

When I sold my Audi, they were still talking about having to reduce engine power to compensate. There was a lot of uncertainty. It has caused the value of diesels to drop like a stone.

Car companies should definitely be fined. But yeah, maybe the money should go to the health services that have to deal with the consequences.
 
I have two claims going through, One for a Landrover Defender the other for a Citroen Relay. Don't know if they will amount to anything, but it takes 1 minute to add your claim. I used Leigh Day who will of course take up to half the amount of any claim, but it's still free money if it happens for just a 1 minute time investment

So how much did you receive? Who did you lodge your claim with?

If in your case, there was a specific reason for compensation that is fair enough, but just because a vehicle is a diesel shouldn't be reason for a payout?

What sort of figures are the "compensation" if you don't mind me asking?
 
I can't see that any claims regarding a motorhome would be valid. How many people have bought a deisel motorhome because of potential low emissions v petrol for example?
 
The link says it will ask just three questions but just keeps asking for more info beyond 3 . o_O

Crikey - if the Fiat Ducato was included I will be in the money - we had 12 different Motorhomes during that period.
 
Nothing ventured I guess - just joined the Nissan action for our X-Trail. Thanks for the heads up.
 
This has been going on a while, I have had my claim in since 2020 for my Sprinter they do keep sending email updates. the firm I am using is PGMBM Law Ltd

If they do this on the Ducato,s, they truly will be “ambulance chasers”. 😎
I just entered our van for curiosity, computer says NO. 3 ltr 180 Fiat. Which is fully compliant for ULEZ LEZ and all U.K. cities.

I've got a 2017 VW Caddy Diesal had from new. Would i be allowed to claim for free money?

I had a VW Caddy and got £1700 through Slater and Gordon but that action is now finished.
 
I,ve just entered my Peugeot based motorhome and it has accepted it (using Jim,s shortcut). It recognises it has a motorhome when reg number is entered . I,ll give it a try and see where what happens
 
blimey, have only ever had, owned, leased and still have diesel vehicles, crikey, could be on my way to becoming a mill yon aire as del boy would say..
so during the appropriate years had a fiat ulysee, renault trafic, citroen relay and a merc sprinter..
