Roller Team T590

We have a 2 year old Roller Team T590, which we use quite a lot, on a recent trip the Dometic Fridge stopped working on electric, but runs fine on gas, then the water heater did the same, I know not connected, been back to dealer, Fridge element gone (new one being done under warranty, the heating/hot water reset no problem or so I was told, tried to use on site, back to running on gas.

Yes tested and told working, when I asked how to reset myself, told not to touch as could be bigger reason for fault.

I'm assuming that the fridge has now been sorted (or will be by the dealer).
the heating/hot water reset no problem or so I was told, tried to use on site, back to running on gas.
You don't say which heater but most have a user reset button which resets the thermal protection cut-out in the event that the heater element has overheated (e.g. as a result of trying to run the heater without water in it). Resetting the thermal cut-out should be covered in the User Manual for your heater.
The dealer's comment that 'could be a bigger reason for the fault' isn't very satisfactory.

Get them to check again. Our truma looked as though it was working, no red flashing light, noise as it heating etc was doing its thing but then no heating but had water on gas only. They had it 3 times, each time saying it was ok, until we made them test it properly. Finally diagnosed with electric element had gone. Replaced and now tickety boo.
