Been wild camping for a few day`s now....

They do go out each day, hopefully to empty their waste`s...

Must have knowledge of the place as it is off the beaten track, where I take Daisy rabbiting...

couple of hundred yards from a good fishing spot...

18 plate and they have a well behaved Doberman tied up outside during the day.. And do pick up after the dog...

Lovely secluded spot...

Is it a Funster...?

Shit me heads all over the place....

Here are the photo`s of said van..

Honest question but are they allowed to wild in England or not? I've lost track of the changing rules but want to try after 9th July if not against them.

I may be wrong, But I don`t think it is allowed...

But saying that the place is spotless and he is well away from public..

Just my opinion.... I don`t think he is doing anything wrong...

Possibly waiting for the big camp site a couple of miles away to open in a few day`s..

why not try and have a chat at suitable distance of course if they're still there next time you take daisy up there for exercise?

I may do later Toni.... but without Daisy.... don`t know how their doberman will react to her..

Haha good choice, it's a Doberman they dont just react, they over react to everything 😂

I think the rules went out the window a long time ago for people in England tbh, I've seen plenty of people sleeping out in the forest in my area and tbh I can't blame them anymore, the government have been a joke in the whole situation, I think if you are clean, tidy and don't leave any trace you were ever there I don't see the harm, you have more space and distance away from people, I see no risk to others at all unlike the rammed beaches.

Wonder what he's doing regarding emptying his cassette? o_O

Looks like a north east registration plate. Possibly local to Northumberland. Maybe just purchased and testing for water ingress after the storm last night.

Went into Helmsley car park yesterday morning and there was 3 MHs overnighting with blinds closed so I think the rules have gone out of the window! Go home people!!!!

If full timer then no issue, he has to be somewhere.

If not full time, whilst all seems good at the moment and he is doing no harm my only comment would be that every crowded beach started with one person who was doing no harm then others saw them and thought oh that's a good idea I think I will go on the beach and do no harm as well.

We’ve noticed MH’s in 2 the car parks at Blue Bank and over the moors opposite Filingdales for the last 3 weeks . Hardly out of view there.

I've never seen so many motorhomes and campers parked up around Thetford Forest as I have today, they are literally everywhere.

Might he have gone out to check his eyesight was ok to drive? Obviously didn't feel well enough so decided to stay until he feels safe. Quite legitimate so wouldn't worry

Yes or he could have travelled a long way from Wales for his father birthday celebrations.

Just my opinion, but isn't it a bit off putting images of the van on the internet and giving details of what the people are doing? Surely it's his business and if he's not causing any bother nor leaving a mess, then he should be entitled to his privacy?

I'm sure none of us would appreciate our reg numbers being displayed on the internet, plus data protection and all that malarky...

Lockdown? That went out the window when high profile people totally disregarded it, they lead by example.

Whether he's a funster or not I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate this thread....twitching curtains or what?

Wrong, at the overflow park in Hensley you are allowed to park overnight, and the Current ‘rules‘ are really guidance and the police do not have the authority to do anything to stop it. Stay away and you shouldn’t catch anything.

As far as I'm aware the no-overnighting restriction put in place by the govt hasn't been lifted yet ... and the police can actually do something about it as it will be covered by the Covid legislation that was brought in I believe.

Hi Minxygirl,
Sorry , what I meant to say is that bobbies are not now interested in doing anything about overnighters as everything is being freed up. As long as the MoHos are not disturbing anyone they will leave them be.

Ha ha! I live there and know the rules. This was not in the overflow car park as that is closed off. It was in the long stay car park in front, next to the toilets that are closed. It is them that should be staying away!

I agree.

Just for info they are about to trial overnight parking at, Chop Gates, Thornton le Dale and Sutton bank. Hope it works out.
