Just started!
We're about to replace our curtains in our van, the ones we've taken down are nicely lined but as we're having new curtains made I'm wondering if there's a 'special thermal lining I could be using?

Thanks

The window curtains and curtain to cut off the cab from the hab areas on our van were pretty naf, so we bought a heavyweight curtain material that we liked along with a metalised thermal lining material and one of our neighbours run up a new set of curtains for us.
They have made a hell of a difference at keeping the cold out as well as keeping a lot of the sun heat at bay.

I have made them for the house on the south facing windows to act as both blackout and thermal (hot and cold) lining. I find that the material sews easily but you need to leave the lining detached at the bottom at least for a while until the main curtain fabric settles otherwise you can get some puckering.
