iPhone 11... No Hotmail!

I have just changed my iPhone 6 to an IPhone 11, only to find that Apple will no longer allow Hotmail accounts on new phones. I don't want to change my email address. I have been told that I can access my Hotmail account via Outlook.
Can anyone tell me how, please preferably in idiot proof language.
Most of what I have read is Double Dutch to me.

How do I get my Hotmail on my iPhone 11?


Make sure you have the following information: 1.

1. Select Settings.
2. Scroll to and select Accounts & Passwords.
3. Select Add Account.
4. Select Outlook.com.
5. Enter your Email address and select Next. Note: the Password is case-sensitive.
6. Enter your Password and select Sign in. Password.
7. Select Yes.
8. Select Save
9. Hope that helps

Just add your hotmail account under the outlook type. Use your normal email address and password. So settings, mail, then choose outlook and put in your account details.

just open a gmail account and redirect the hotmail to it cut your spam by 90%
