Anyone recommend a good inverter and can you buy a relay to switch the inverter to the inside plug when you are not hooked up

You can make a changeover relay fairly easily if you’re practical (check out post from Techno). They can be a bit buzzy though.

Studer 👌 the best, compact and Swiss made.

I put a manual changeover on ours, I don't like the idea of a contactor buzzing away using power continuously. The mains here in Benidorm is metered so I just switch over to ehu for Ann's hair dryer.

Studer, victron, mastervolt, sterling, etc. All good inverters.

Oh if you wire it like mine you have to switch off all trips except sockets, otherwise the inverter will try and run everything 👍
 
is a Edecoe Pure Sine Wave inverter good?
 
Ok thanks for your reply. is there a reason why not?

Cheap crap that is horribly noisy, isn't as powerful as quoted and unreliable.
