anyone got a satellite that also receives internet?
Wondering if you could stream to a fire stick for instance?
Currently using a mifi 4g receiver but changing van and not sure if I can get it unstuck to transfer over, quite like to have a satellite on new van so thought about combining the two.

Just about all satellite internet systems use different satellites to those used for UK TV...and use different LNBs, so will be tricky to get both UK TV and internet on the same dish...

I have both internet and satellite on the same dish as do a few others on here. You can't use them both at the same time as the dish has to point at different satellites for tv and internet All automatic on mine).
It worked fine but internet speeds were never very high and I've now cancelled the internet subscription and use my phone as a 4g hotspot on the vodafone network. That gives me 30gb a month all of which can be tethered when abroad.

thanks awg, did wonder about download speeds, ive got a business contract with 50gb so looking to do the same, tethered to firestick works well.
