"International Childrens' Day"

I am told that it is today.

I never remember it when I lived in England.

Is it recognised in UK now?

Did anyone do anything about it today?

Here in Poland it is not just 'Children' but all offspring have to be recognised in some way. Gets a bit complicated with a family of 4 generations.

Seems to vary around the world. Children’s Day is given as a November 20th, June 1st seems to relate to the Protection of Children Day. Can’t say I’ve ever experienced celebration of either day, even when I was a teacher.

Yep, here to in Ro, it’s officially recognised as international children’s day, and is a bank holiday for that matter as well.

Yes, the UK sent em back to skool for the day, we know stay at home is important fun
But edutication is more importanter
