interesting fact - Austria now has street view (1 Viewer)

Now I may be behind the curve, but this is the first time I've seen street view available on google maps for Austria.
Helps in orienting the campsite and assessing the approach.
Still not there for Germany - for privacy concerns - but there is talk this may change together with CCTV in view of security issues.

I was pretty sure I had viewed Street view a few years ago when I wanted to do the old Brenner pass from Innsbruck.

Sorry if you thought I was criticising you, that was not my intention. I think I tried to view Germany last year and couldn’t.

Germany street view (via pegman) seems to be a work in progress - works for eg Munchen but not for much of country.

Google street maps can be confusing when self directing, my simple street map is clear .

Yes it is, works for Germany.

It doesn't work when I try it, there are only some 360 degree photos.
