Intelsat 907 - More 4 and Channel 5 missing (1 Viewer)

Hi,

As per the title I appear to be missing these 2 channels. Have rescanned a number of times without success).

Signal and quality strengths are 90 and 75

Any help greatly appreciated.

To answer my own question (I think), looks like my firmware is well out of date, unsure if I fancy updating it whilst out of the country. Think I'll just do without some channels.

I know I'm currently having this conversation with myself, lol.

But on the off chance anyone else has the same issue, hopefully this info may help, as I can confirm that you can just upload the channel list from a newer .abs firmware file (I downloaded the file via an OTG adapter to my phone). Select to update channels list only.

Where did you download the new .abs file from please?

I haven't used my icecrypt for a year now but intend to in the next couple of month in Spain so mine might also need updated.

Hi,

I don't think it was particularly new (2018), more that mine was particularly old (2014). I got it from the Satpimps site.

It came with firmware 1.7.03, which they seemed to say was the most stable version. However, as I've had to do it whilst on the Aire via a smartphone, I didn't flash the firmware, only the channelist, so I can't comment anymore than that.

Hi I am running firmware and abs version 2.4.46 which I have a copy of if you need it also I have attached a copy of a setup sheet if you dont already have it, some links and firmware references are out of date but the general setup is good
