Hi got a small leak in my alloy wheel. Had it welded but its leaking again, I'm going to see if it can be redone tomorow.
Has anyone used an inner tube on their motorhome, I'm thinking about this if the leak can't be sealed never used one on a car or van before.
Thanks
Kenny.

Recommended NOT to put a tube in a tubeless tyre
The inside of a tube tyre is very smooth whereas the tubeless is relatively rough and can damage a tube over time

I don't know if it's a solution but you could use one of those gloopy roadside puncture repair kits that are supplied nowadays instead of a spare wheel.

I had a car with alloys on once, they all kept going down and eventually I'd had enough and paid £200 for them to be refurbished. They lasted about a year then started going down again. I sold the wheels for £200 and bought some second hand steel wheels and wheel trims. Problem sorted. Actually still got the car, it's at mum's house and since the first lockdown it's disused... But the tyres are still up 😍

So my advice: get rid of them 😎

Cheers guys kind of thought that about the inner tube, managed to source another wheel but the offset is 25mm different, will see what the guy says tomorow if he can do nothing with it.
Other option space out one of the originals and put them on the front, it's an aclass so the fronts sit in a bit would be room for them.
Failing that looking for new wheels.

Is your wheel coroded around the rim? It might help to have it sandblasted and repainted; that might be quicker and cheaper than a getting a new wheel if you have a specialist size.

Hi the leak is on the inner part of the wheel.

Most tyre shops will seal a leak. I took a car wheel to a small independent and he sealed it for a fiver.

I've got alloys prone to leak on my mini but after 3 goes it seems fine now. Might just be a matter of finding someone interested and letting them have a few goes

Had the wheel welded again, hopefully done the trick. Seems to be holding up so far not driven the van yet. Hopefully find out next week as we are hopefully getting away.
